What the company said

  • Strategy. Stellantis presented the event as a first result of its FaSTLAne 2030 plan. Enlarged Europe COO Emanuele Cappellano mentioned more than 50 products to be launched by 2030 and a 25% expansion of market coverage in Enlarged Europe.
  • Design. Gilles Vidal, Head of Design for Enlarged Europe, led the concepts and said the future of automotive design "must be both bold and meaningful".
  • People. John Elkann (Chairman), Antonio Filosa (CEO) and Emanuele Cappellano spoke at the event.

Why concepts matter, and how much

Concept cars are statements of intent, not product plans. FIAT says Multiplay is "not a preview of a specific production model", Alfa Romeo says Cuorerosso is neither a preview of a production car nor a styling exercise, and PEUGEOT marks its consumption figure as "to be confirmed". Where there is a concrete production link, it is stated: the Hypersquare control in the RCZ Vision is the production version planned for the next PEUGEOT E-208.
