DS Automobiles presented DS F3VER at the Stellantis "The Night Before" event on 11 October 2026. It is a compact electric concept, 4.19 metres long, designed in-house, and DS calls it a "full-scale design laboratory" for the brand's next chapter. It will be shown to the public at the Paris Motor Show; the press conference is on Monday 12 October at 10:10 in Hall 4.

The three ideas

DS names three territories the concept explores: desirability, ultra-customisation and freedom of use.

  • Desirability. A vertical "totem" at the front carries the brand emblem, and the new light signature has a vertical Y shape. The rear has a matching totem with a digital DS logo and 16 LED panels carried by an ultra-light magnesium structure inspired by the vaulted roof of the Grand Palais.
  • Customisation. The roof has a customisable ring, the two-tone line is extended towards the rear and wraps around the tailgate, sides and bumper, and the Cosmic Blue paint shifts from vivid blue to deep violet depending on the light. The rear light animations can be personalised.
  • Freedom of use. The length is that of a compact car, but the wheelbase and the boot are described as belonging to a larger class.

"Design Intelligence"

The most concrete engineering message is a design approach DS calls "Design Intelligence": fewer parts. The front lighting combines the headlamp and the daytime running light, the bumpers are one piece, and the add-on plastic trim around the wheel arches and the lower body has been removed. DS says the aim is a smoother silhouette, but also simpler and faster development. The company also says it used Stellantis' digital and artificial-intelligence tools to explore design options more quickly, and stresses that AI "is not a substitute for creativity".

What is not given

No battery capacity, power or range figure is given, only the claim of a "class-leading electric range". DS presents the car as an inspiration for future models, not a model that will be built as shown. At the Paris Motor Show visitors will be able to create and share selfies with the concept through a web application.
